Belinda began her career in the legal industry in 1994 when she accepted her first job as a mail room clerk at a large city law firm. By the time Belinda reached the age of 21, she was working as a conveyancer and senior mortgage clerk. Belinda also dabbled in Property Litigation and Probate.

In 2006, Belinda left the legal industry to have her first child. She subsequently had three more children in 2008, 2011 and 2013. In 2009, not long after her second child was born, Belinda obtained her conveyancing Licence. It was at this point she began handling a small portfolio of conveyancing matters for friends and family. This was a perfect balance that saw her conveyancing skills maintained but more importantly, it meant that she could work around her children.

In 2018, Belinda opened a small first floor office in Main Street Croydon which has seen the business grow exponentially year after year.

In early 2022, having outgrown the Croydon office, Belinda opened a second office in the Lilydale in order to reach more clients in Yarra Valley.

Belinda is a personable, honest, caring and hard-working and genuinely cares about her client’s.

Belinda’s passion to protect consumers was evident in 2018 when she led a campaign fighting against the mandating of electronic conveyancing. This saw Belinda attend Parliament to raise her concerns with David Davis MP. Her primary concerns were the vulnerabilities of the online settlement portal and the risk to consumers. This intense campaign, which was relentless right up until the mandate came into effect, saw the necessary introduction of 2 factor authentication as well as several other improvements to the settlement portal. Belinda also found herself on The Project and was quoted in The Age. Although this fight is now over with, Belinda’s is now fighting against the monopoly held by PEXA and ensuring that healthy competition is introduced into the Conveyancing arena.

Belinda was appointed as an AIC committee member in 2021 and hopes to use this position to assist in the strengthening of regulations so that the calibre of Conveyancers practicing in the community remains high.

In Belinda’s spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and likes to unwind to a great book and loves binging Netflix.
